myLot is one of the sites that I'm participating in to earn online.
You can also learn from doing Offers, if you are eligible.
Fast forward to the present, after backreading emails, I found myLot again and thought of checking it out. Last 2013, the site had another facelift and the earning scheme was back again, but only for discussions and offers. Way back, members were able to earn through referrals, but that's not possible now -- at least not yet, according to the FAQ. That's probably going to happen down the line.
Have I cashed out? Not yet. I was halfway through the cashout when they decided to stop payments way back. Now, I'm almost at the USD 2 mark, but that's because I'm not always there like the other users (because of my day job and mom duties). But there had been members that cashed out. One of them even said that myLot did not deduct anything when she cashed out, even at the minimum threshold. So that's one positive thing about the site.
I plan to continue using myLot because I find socializing there fun. The members are very nice to talk to and sometimes they are able to help you with things. Just keep everything clean and friendly, and you'll enjoy your time at myLot.

How much can you earn from myLot?
According to their FAQ, it depends on how interesting or valuable the myLot community finds it. The more comments and likes your post makes, the more money it will make. How do you get paid?
You have to reach their minimum threshold of USD 5, payable to Paypal only. That's why it's important to be active on the site and to have a Paypal account (which you can configure later). My myLot experience
I joined myLot around 2008 but wasn't really very active. That time, I was happy with the social activity of joining discussions and making my own posts. And then a year after that, they underwent new management and before I knew it, they stopped the earnings scheme.Fast forward to the present, after backreading emails, I found myLot again and thought of checking it out.
